　　With the permanent theme of "Expanding Two-way Investment, Jointly Promoting Global Development", the conference focuses on three major sections of "Invest in China", "China's Investment" and "International Investment", sets up a 200,000-square-meter exhibition area, plans 14 professional exhibition zones, and organizes 46 themed activities and 52 project roadshow events.

　　Pedro Manuel Moreno, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, said at the opening ceremony that only when all countries are interconnected can development advance continuously, and CIFIT is exactly the platform that practices this concept year after year. China has now become the world's third largest outward investor, and the connections between Chinese investors and developing economies in infrastructure, manufacturing, digital transformation and other fields are deepening year by year.

　　Ismail Ersahin, Director-General of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies, pointed out in an interview with Chinanews.com that China's artificial intelligence sector is developing rapidly, which can quickly propose solutions targeting people's needs and keep innovating. "From my personal observation, the pace of development in China is still further accelerating now."

　　For the first time, this year's conference has innovatively set up "two Guest Countries of Honor" including Finland and Saudi Arabia, and "two Guest Provinces of Honor" including Guangdong and Qinghai. Li Yanna, Counsellor for Public Diplomacy and Communication of the Finnish Embassy in China, believes that CIFIT has built an excellent platform for Chinese and Finnish enterprises, helping both sides establish connections, explore new opportunities and realize the transformation of achievements.

　　Yu Guangsheng, Deputy Director-General of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce of China, said that this edition of CIFIT has four major characteristics: more in-depth integration of two-way investment, richer arrangement of professional activities, continuously improved innovative exhibition functions, and continuously enhanced public service functions.
