  The 26th China International Fair for Investment and Trade will be held in Xiamen, Fujian Province from September 8 to 11. All preparatory work is now basically ready. The State Council Information Office held a press conference on the 25th to introduce relevant information.

  CIFIT takes "Expanding Two-way Investment, Jointly Promoting Global Development" as its permanent theme. This year's CIFIT focuses on the investment theme, sets up three major sections of "Invest in China", "China's Investment" and "International Investment", and plans 14 professional exhibition areas with more distinct specialization.

  "This year, both the area of the financial zone and the number of participating institutions have doubled compared with last year. 140 leading financial institutions and listed companies will participate, bringing more investment and financial service solutions as well as project cooperation opportunities," said Ling Ji, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce and Deputy Representative for International Trade Negotiations.

  Ling Ji introduced that this CIFIT will hold themed activities such as the multinational corporation symposium, the cross-border investment trend release conference, and the international cooperation matchmaking meeting for industrial and supply chains, providing a two-way docking platform for foreign-funded enterprises to deeply cultivate the Chinese market and Chinese enterprises to go global. In addition, Guangdong and Qinghai provinces are arranged as the "double guest provinces" for the first time, taking into account the development of the eastern and western regions. All provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government), cities with separate planning, and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps will participate in the exhibition, and hold two-way investment promotion and project release activities.

  Delegations from 123 countries and regions have signed up to participate, and 60 countries and regions have set up exhibition booths; special economic and trade activities such as the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the China-US Provincial-State Cooperation and the China-EU Enterprise Alliance will be held... The international "circle of friends" of this CIFIT is even larger.

  "This CIFIT has set up 'double guest countries' for the first time, with Finland and Saudi Arabia serving as the guest countries, which reflects the international popularity of CIFIT and the distinct feature of two-way investment," said Ling Ji. Despite the rising instability and uncertainty of global cross-border investment, this CIFIT has still received high attention from the international community, with active participation from all sectors at home and abroad, which helps to gather consensus from all parties and promote pragmatic cooperation.

  The exhibition hall has been upgraded and expanded, greatly improving the exhibition and display capacity, which will bring more diversified cooperation opportunities.

  "The entire conference has been moved to the Xiamen International Expo Center this time, with the area expanded from 120,000 square meters in previous sessions to 200,000 square meters this year, fully displaying hot investment fields such as new quality productive forces, 'Silk Road Maritime' and international supply chains," introduced Zhao Zenglian, Vice Governor of Fujian Province. The cross-strait integrated development zone has also doubled in area, further improved in quality, and focused on demonstrating new cooperation achievements in fields such as semiconductors, financial services, and biomedicine.

  Zhao Zenglian introduced that the province has sorted out 828 investment promotion projects, which have been released on platforms such as the "Cloud CIFIT" and Fujian Investment Promotion Network for domestic and foreign merchants to carry out pre-docking and pre-negotiation. Special roadshow promotion activities will also be carried out in batches during the conference.

  "Integrating exhibition and negotiation" is a major feature of CIFIT. "This year, we will continue to increase the supply of high-quality projects, set up more than 20 roadshow areas to cover all venues. Judging from the current schedule, all sessions are fully booked," said Liu Minqiang, Director-General of the Investment Promotion Agency of the Ministry of Commerce.

  Meng Huating, Director-General of the Department of Foreign Investment Administration of the Ministry of Commerce, introduced that during the 26th CIFIT, 16 "Invest in China" activities will be held focusing on key countries, key industries and key platforms to demonstrate China's investment opportunities in all dimensions.
