    Said Fouad, Director of the Asian Department of the Egyptian Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, thanked the Chinese side for hosting the "Export to China" special event in Egypt. He said that the Egyptian side is willing to establish longer-term cooperation with the Chinese side, strengthen economic and trade exchanges, and promote the better development of bilateral economic and trade relations.

    Mohammed Kassem, Chairman of the Egyptian Exporters Association, hopes that Chinese and Egyptian enterprises can establish a regular exchange mechanism, and said that Egyptian enterprises should gain in-depth understanding of the Chinese market demand and sales channels to achieve more economic and trade cooperation outcomes.

    Chang Hui, Second-Level Inspector of the Foreign Trade Department of the Ministry of Commerce of China, said that the "Export to China" Egypt special event is the first stop of the "Export to China" series of events to enter African countries. Holding the "Export to China" series of docking events is a vivid practice for China to expand high-level opening-up and promote balanced trade development, as well as an innovative measure to share development dividends with all trading partners and firmly uphold the multilateral trading system and free trade.

    Zhao Liuqing, Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Egypt, said that this year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Egypt. At present, the bilateral relations are in the best period in history, and the practical economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has become the ballast and booster of bilateral relations. Since May 1 this year, China has fully implemented zero-tariff measures for 53 African countries with diplomatic relations, and it is expected that more high-quality products will be exported to the Chinese market in the future with broad room for growth.

    This "Export to China" Egypt special event is co-organized by the Foreign Trade Development Bureau of the Ministry of Commerce of China and the Egyptian Exporters Association. About 170 representatives from the political and business circles and entrepreneurs of the two countries attended the event.
