Technological achievements of Chinese enterprises are showcased at the Riyadh Communications, Technology and Information Technology Exhibition.
People's Daily Online, Riyadh, September 4 (Reporter Ren Haoyu) Recently, the 5th Riyadh Communications and Information Technology Exhibition was held in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. More than 1,800 technology enterprises from all over the world gathered to showcase innovative technological achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, smart cities and other sectors. A number of Chinese enterprises participated in the exhibition, drawing widespread attention.
Stepping into the HONOR booth, robots are bustling around: they flexibly raise their two arms over their heads to make a heart gesture, walk over to shake hands with visitors from time to time, and stop to take photos with the audience now and then. Apart from humanoid robots, HONOR also displayed its newly launched Robot Phone, which is integrated with an intelligent robot gimbal, enabling free movement, sensitive tracking of shooting subjects and anthropomorphic interaction with the surrounding environment, attracting a large number of visitors to experience it. Liao Gang, Head of HONOR Saudi Arabia, said that from Robot Phones and robotics technology to the broader interconnected ecosystem, we hope to demonstrate how artificial intelligence can serve human beings in a more natural way, so that everyone can feel the warmth brought by technology.

During the exhibition, Chinese AI robot company Agibot demonstrated the practical application scenarios of multiple products including humanoid robots and quadruped robots; Chinese autonomous driving technology company WeRide exhibited several autonomous driving vehicles and shared its experience in the large-scale global deployment of autonomous driving; Inspur Communications displayed its full-stack product capabilities and solutions in the digital economy sector.

Chang Hua, Chinese Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, said that the Belt and Road Initiative is highly aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which has opened up broad space for scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries. He is very pleased to see that Chinese enterprises have brought innovative achievements in the fields of artificial intelligence, robotics, cloud computing, smart terminals and other sectors at this exhibition. He hopes that relevant enterprises can take technology as the link, deeply integrate into Saudi Arabia's digital transformation and industrial upgrading process, and become partners and co-builders of Saudi Arabia's development.
This exhibition is hosted by the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and other institutions. Abdullah Al-Swaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology of Saudi Arabia, stated at the press conference held on the eve of the exhibition that China's scientific and technological development achievements are receiving widespread attention around the world. Saudi Arabia values its partnership with China and is willing to further expand cooperation with Chinese technology enterprises.
