China and Thailand signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Strengthening Economic Cooperation in Industrial and Supply Chains

On July 20, witnessed by Chinese Premier Li Qiang and Thai Prime Minister Anutin, Wang Wentao, Minister of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, and Supamas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce of Thailand, signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Commerce of the Kingdom of Thailand on Strengthening Economic Cooperation in Industrial and Supply Chains (hereinafter referred to as the "Memorandum") in Beijing.

Pursuant to the Memorandum, the two sides agree to advance economic cooperation on industrial and supply chains between the two countries, hold regular meetings and strengthen exchanges, support relevant government departments, local authorities and enterprises of the two countries to continuously deepen and promote pragmatic cooperation, so as to better foster a favorable business environment for enterprises of both countries and jointly respond to challenges. In recent years, the potential of China-Thailand industrial and supply chain cooperation has been continuously unlocked. The signing of the Memorandum will promote the establishment of a pragmatic and efficient industrial and supply chain cooperation platform between China and Thailand, safeguard the security, resilience and smooth flow of the industrial and supply chains of the two countries, and jointly build a closer economic cooperation relationship for China-Thailand industrial and supply chains.
