According to a Reuters report, on the 6th local time, US President Trump stated that the United States will impose approximately 100% tariffs on chips and semiconductors. Trump also said, "A 100% tariff will be imposed on all chips and semiconductors imported into the United States. However, if you have committed to building a factory (in the United States) or are in the process of building a factory (in the United States), just like many companies, then there will be no tariff."
