As the largest, highest-standard and most influential grand event for Zhejiang entrepreneurs in Zhejiang Province, the World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention serves as an effective platform to demonstrate the vibrant spirit of Zhejiang entrepreneurs, promote their cooperation and exchanges, and support their entrepreneurship and innovation.

　　At present, all preparatory work for the 8th World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Convention has been basically completed, and the event will kick off at the Great Hall of the People of Zhejiang Province on November 6.

　　On the morning of October 27, the Information Office of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government held a press conference to introduce relevant details of the convention.

　　Hosted by the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, this convention is undertaken by the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, Zhejiang Provincial Federation of Industry and Commerce, and General Chamber of Zhejiang Entrepreneurs, with the joint participation of 47 relevant provincial-level departments and corresponding prefecture-level cities. It will arrange the opening ceremony, the World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Forum and 18 themed activities.

　　This convention implements the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and all plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on the development of the private economy, and the important "4+1" requirements put forward during his inspection in Zhejiang. Opening Ceremony of the Convention 

　　It will centrally display a number of hard-core innovation achievements led or participated by private enterprises, release a batch of innovation practice cases, and three-dimensionally present the thriving scene of "Innovation in Zhejiang, All Things Thrive". A special section "Innovators' Voice" will be set up to invite Zhejiang entrepreneur representatives to tell vivid stories of their entrepreneurship and innovation in Zhejiang, and gather consensus and strength to promote the full momentum of innovative Zhejiang construction.

World Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Forum 

　　It will focus on the "deep integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation" and "AI empowers thousands of industries", and promote Zhejiang entrepreneurs at home and abroad to seize strategic opportunities through various forms such as keynote speeches, open mic dialogues, and technology-themed shows.

There are 18 themed activities in 5 major categories

　　Not long ago, the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce released five lists of "2026 Top 500 Chinese Private Enterprises", and the number of enterprises from Zhejiang on all lists ranks first in China, achieving a "grand slam" for three consecutive years.

　　Representatives of Zhejiang enterprises on the lists will be invited to the opening ceremony and awarded plaques, to demonstrate the gradient cultivation of Zhejiang private enterprises and the overall development achievements of Zhejiang entrepreneurs at home and abroad.

　　At the opening ceremony, the "Opinions on Deeply Implementing the Zhejiang Entrepreneurs Inheritance Project to Promote the Healthy and High-Quality Growth of the New Generation of Private Economic Personages" will be released, introducing the work progress and achievements of Zhejiang's pilot program. More than 50 new-generation Zhejiang entrepreneur representatives will be invited to the stage to share their views. During the convention, special activities such as the "Blue and Green Dialogue · New Quality and New Birth" sharing session will also be held, to fully demonstrate the good momentum of healthy growth and orderly inheritance of Zhejiang's new-generation entrepreneurs.

For this convention, well-known Zhejiang entrepreneurs actively sign up for participation. The overall scale of the event reaches 1800 people, a 20% increase over the previous session, of which more than 1600 are Zhejiang entrepreneur representatives, accounting for about 88%.

Luo Fanghao replied that in the first three quarters, there were 4 million registered private enterprises in Zhejiang, with a year-on-year growth of 8.65%; private project investment increased by 2.1%, 8.8 percentage points higher than the national average; the import and export volume of private enterprises increased by 10.5%, accounting for 82.7% of the total import and export value of the province. Since the beginning of this year, the platform has collected more than 82,100 enterprise-related problems in total, with a problem resolution rate of 99.5%.
