The investment in smart green applications in Thailand has exceeded 146 billion Thai Baht.

The Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) has received 1397 investment promotion applications with a total investment exceeding 146 billion Thai baht, aiming to push forward the intelligent and green transformation of industries.

Investment in the "intelligent" industry mainly focuses on modernizing production and operations through automation, robotics and digital technologies, so as to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

The "green" initiatives mainly include improving energy efficiency, adopting renewable energy and reducing environmental impact, to meet global sustainable development standards.

Promoting the above upgrades is designed to adapt Thailand's industrial development to the demands of the modern market and enhance the long-term international competitiveness of Thailand's industries.
