Egypt plans to promote rooftop solar power generation in factories

Amwal Al Ghad English website reported on May 12. The Egyptian government is formulating the "Industrial Light" initiative, planning to utilize the rooftop space of about 7,000 factories, which covers an area of 7 million square meters, to install a total solar power generation capacity of approximately 1,000 megawatts, with an average of about 150 kilowatts per factory.
