The cross - border train service between China and Vietnam has resumed. Trains run daily between Nanning and Hanoi, and there are weekly services between Beijing and Hanoi.

On the 25th, Train T8701 departed from Nanning Station to Hanoi, marking the resumption of the China-Vietnam international through-passenger train service after a five-year hiatus.

 

The resumed international passenger train between Nanning Station and Hanoi (Gia Lam) Station departs from Nanning Station at 18:05 Beijing Time every day, crosses the border at the Pingxiang Railway Port, and arrives at Hanoi (Gia Lam) Station at 6:30 the next day; it departs from Hanoi (Gia Lam) Station at 22:20 every day and arrives at Nanning Station at 10:06 the next day. The international passenger train between Beijing West Station and Hanoi (Gia Lam) Station departs from Beijing West Station at 16:05 every Thursday and Sunday. Passengers will transfer to Train T8701 at Nanning Station to continue their journey to Hanoi (Gia Lam) Station; it departs from Hanoi (Gia Lam) Station every Tuesday and Friday, and passengers will transfer at Nanning Station to continue their journey to Beijing West Station.
