China and Serbia signed the Medium-term Action Plan for Jointly Building the Belt and Road (2026-2028).

On May 25, 2026, witnessed by the heads of state of China and Serbia, Zheng Shanjie, Director of the National Development and Reform Commission, and Jagoda Lazarević, Minister of Internal and External Trade of Serbia, signed the "Mid - term Action Plan for Jointly Building the Belt and Road Initiative between the Government of the People's Republic of China and the Government of the Republic of Serbia (2026 - 2028)".
