The UK performed the world's first real-time AI-assisted brain surgery

The patient has now recovered. Professor Hany Marcus, one of the lead surgeons, said that an average general surgeon in the UK performs about 10 to 20 pituitary tumor resection operations a year, while this AI is trained on hundreds of such operations, a number that is more than most surgeons will see or perform in their entire career, making it a reliable pair of "eyes". Marcus said their long-term goal is to develop a ChatGPT for surgeons, so that "there is an extra expert in the operating room that doctors can consult when needed — and they don't have to follow the advice if they don't agree with it." Shifting from product export to local ecosystem rooting, new energy commercial vehicles' overseas expansion enters the fast lane

The overseas expansion of China's new energy commercial vehicles is reaching an inflection point. Relying on the complete domestic industrial chain foundation, the overseas market development of multiple product lines including heavy trucks, logistics vehicles and Robovan is accelerating simultaneously, with batches of orders landing one after another. The significant operating cost advantage brought by the price difference between oil and electricity, coupled with policy promotion in various countries, has continuously opened up the growth space for new energy commercial vehicles overseas. However, going global is not just simple product trade export. There are big differences in regulations, working conditions and infrastructure conditions across countries, and problems such as certification barriers, maintenance shortcomings and localization adaptation are urgently to be solved. Enterprises are breaking away from the simple "selling vehicles" mindset, and output integrated solutions covering complete vehicles, energy replenishment, digital management and asset disposal. According to industry experts, as the dimension of industry competition continues to upgrade from trade, manufacturing, channels to a complete ecosystem, only by realizing the stable operation of vehicles throughout the full life cycle and truly taking root in local markets can China's new energy commercial vehicles build long-term overseas competitiveness.
