The "Blue Book on International Situation and China's Foreign Affairs (2025/2026)" is released.
Beijing, July 29 (People's Daily, Cui Qi) — *Blue Book of International Situation and China's Diplomacy (2025/2026)* was released in Beijing on July 29. The book systematically explains the theoretical and practical innovations of Xi Jinping Thought on Diplomacy in 2025, conducts in-depth analysis of the new trends in the evolution of the international situation in 2025, and comprehensively elaborates on the new achievements and progress made in China's diplomacy and China's foreign relations in 2025.
The Blue Book notes that in 2025, facing the fast-changing international situation and under the guidance of head-of-state diplomacy, China remains committed to pursuing the general trend, upholding greater justice and following the right path, adheres to choosing dialogue over confrontation and partnership over alliance, promotes the building of a major-country relationship framework featuring peaceful coexistence, overall stability and balanced development, works with neighboring countries to build the "five homelands" of peace, tranquility, prosperity, beauty and friendship, strengthens unity and cooperation with other developing countries, actively reforms and improves the global governance system, effectively advances global open cooperation, and makes new contributions to the great cause of building a strong country, advancing national rejuvenation and fostering a community with a shared future for mankind.
Compiled by the China Institute of International Studies, the Blue Book is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on analyzing new trends of the international strategic situation, regional and country-specific situations, the world economy, international security and global governance, while the second part specifically discusses the new progress of China's foreign policy and China's foreign relations.
