One-North Startup Valley in Singapore Builds Asia's Flagship Startup Base
According to a report by Lianhe Zaobao on March 26, Singapore's JTC Corporation will collaborate with multiple parties to provide exclusive resources connecting to 19 global startup hubs for startups in the LaunchPad at one-north. In addition, the Singapore authorities will also implement more policies beneficial to startups. For example, they will simplify the process for new enterprises to enter the LaunchPad, further promoting the development of the startup ecosystem. On March 25, JTC Corporation announced that it will cooperate with NUS Enterprise and INSEAD to expand the network of the LaunchPad at one-north to 19 global locations, including cities such as Paris, San Francisco, Shenzhen, and Jakarta. This resource is only available to startups in the LaunchPad. NUS Enterprise and INSEAD will provide co-working spaces at these 19 overseas locations, allowing enterprises to test the product-market fit before deciding to expand into the target markets. In addition, NUS Enterprise will also provide "soft landing" support, including pre-overseas expansion preparations, setting market goals, and introducing local investor and customer networks to assist startups in expanding their business territories.
