Four Saudi companies sign agreement to develop oil and gas fields in Syria

According to a report by the Saudi Press Agency on December 10, four Saudi companies, including TAQA, ADES Holdings, Arabian Drilling Company, and Arabian Geophysical and Surveying Company (ARGAS), have signed agreements with the Syrian Petroleum Company. The agreements cover services, technical support, and development of oil and gas fields in Syria. The signed agreements include: 1. ADES Holdings signed an agreement with the Syrian Petroleum Company. This agreement stipulates the basic principles for the development, operation, and production of gas fields and clarifies the core terms of the final technical service contract, which will be used for the development and operation of gas fields and related facilities in the designated contract area. The agreement aims to increase the production of five gas fields, namely Abu Rabah, Qamqam, North Al-Faydh, Al-Tiyas, and Zumlat al-Mahar, as well as the production of any other areas agreed upon in the subsequent stages. 2. TAQA signed a master service agreement with the Syrian Petroleum Company to improve operational efficiency and increase production by using the latest technologies and state-of-the-art equipment, and to provide advanced integrated solutions and services for the construction and maintenance of Syrian oil and gas fields and wells. 3. ARGAS signed a master service agreement with the Syrian Petroleum Company to provide two-dimensional and three-dimensional seismic surveys and related technical services to support exploration and drilling activities. 4. Arabian Drilling Company signed an agreement with the Syrian Petroleum Company. Arabian Drilling Company will provide drilling and well workover services for oil and gas wells in Syria, including the leasing and operation of onshore drilling and well workover equipment. Arabian Drilling Company will provide drilling and well workover equipment, carry out well workover operations, and provide operational support, as well as employee training and development.
