The 2025 China-ASEAN Week was held, with the bilateral trade volume increasing, and mechanical and electrical products taking the lead.

The "China-ASEAN Week 2025" was held in Fujian from November 17th to 19th, showcasing the fruitful results of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. China and ASEAN have been each other's largest trading partners for five consecutive years. According to customs statistics, in the first ten months of this year, China's imports and exports to ASEAN reached 6.18 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 9.1%, accounting for 16.6% of China's total foreign trade value. Driven by tariff reduction and trade facilitation policies, the complementary industrial advantages between China and ASEAN have been fully unleashed. China's exports of mechanical and electrical products to ASEAN account for more than 60% of the total export value, among which the exports of high-tech and high-value-added products such as the "new three" have increased significantly. In the first ten months, the trade volume of agricultural and food products between China and ASEAN reached 51.3 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 8.9%.
