As of October 2025, there were 18.645 million electric vehicle charging facilities in China, a year-on-year increase of 54.0%.

On November 19th, the National Energy Administration released the national electric vehicle charging facility data for October. According to the data from the national charging facility monitoring and service platform, as of the end of October 2025, the total number of electric vehicle charging infrastructures (chargers) in China reached 18.645 million, a year-on-year increase of 54.0%. Among them, there were 4.533 million public charging infrastructures (chargers), a year-on-year increase of 39.5%. The rated total power of public charging piles reached 203 million kilowatts, with an average power of approximately 44.69 kilowatts; there were 14.112 million private charging infrastructures (chargers), a year-on-year increase of 59.4%. The reported power consumption capacity of private charging infrastructures reached 124 million kilovolt-amperes.
