Build a Better Home Together, Create a Prosperous Future Together —— Media from SCO Member States Gather in China to Discuss Cooperation

On May 23, the 2025 Media Cooperation Forum of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) countries with the theme of "Building a Beautiful Homeland Together and Creating a Prosperous Future Together" was held in Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. More than 300 representatives of mainstream media, responsible comrades from relevant departments, experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from 26 countries, including SCO member states, observer states, and dialogue partners, gathered together to discuss cooperation.

The participating guests said that the media, as an important channel for information dissemination, plays an important role in enhancing mutual understanding, promoting cultural exchanges, and driving practical cooperation. All parties should actively carry forward the "Shanghai Spirit", continuously deepen cooperation in all aspects, and contribute media strength to maintaining regional peace, stability, and prosperity and jointly promoting the building of a community with a shared future for the SCO.
