EY "Invest in ASEAN" Seminar: Gain Insights into New Investment Trends in ASEAN!

钱塘出海2025-10-13 17:03
The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) has remained China's largest trading partner for many consecutive years, and the bilateral trade volume has continued to rise.

In the context of the profound evolution of the global economic landscape, ASEAN,凭借其区位优势、人口红利及经济活力, has become a popular global investment destination and plays a key role in the reconstruction of the global industrial chain. ASEAN is of particular strategic value to Chinese enterprises. It can not only undertake China's traditional industries but also provides a vast market for emerging industries such as cross - border e - commerce, digital technology, and green energy. ASEAN has remained China's largest trading partner for many consecutive years, and the bilateral trade volume has been continuously rising. In the first half of 2025, the total value of goods trade between China and ASEAN reached US$511 billion, a year - on - year increase of 8.3%, accounting for more than one - sixth of China's total foreign trade value.

Currently, although the global economy is showing a recovery trend, factors such as the new US tariff policy have also increased the uncertainty of the global supply chain. In the face of challenges, deepening regional cooperation has become an inevitable choice. China and ASEAN should base themselves on their highly complementary industrial advantages, strengthen policy coordination and industrial docking, and jointly build a more resilient, efficient, and secure regional supply chain system to calmly cope with external uncertainties and jointly seize future development opportunities.

This seminar will explore the trends of Chinese enterprises going global to six countries: Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam.
