The Think Tank of the Hong Kong Productivity Council (Hangzhou Station) was successfully held | Frontline of the event
On May 29th, the Think Tank Exchange (Hangzhou Station) of the Hong Kong Productivity Council was successfully held with the strong support and collaboration of the Zhejiang Provincial Business Representative Office in Hong Kong (Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area), the Hangzhou Science and Technology Bureau, the Hangzhou Commerce Bureau, the Hangzhou Qiantang District Commerce Bureau, the Hong Kong Chamber of Commerce in Zhejiang, the Hong Kong-Hangzhou Science and Technology Innovation Company, and the China Enterprises International Service Center. The China Enterprises International Service Center became the first stop in the Yangtze River Delta for the Productivity Council's "Think Tank Exchange" event. The Think Tank Exchange (Hangzhou Station) aims to inject new impetus into the cooperation between Zhejiang and Hong Kong enterprises and also marks an important step for the Productivity Council to deepen cooperation in the Yangtze River Delta.
At the event site, Mr. Peter Poon, the President of the Hong Kong Productivity Council, and Mr. Lai Siu-pan, the Chief Digital Officer and the Chief Executive Officer of the Mainland Business, had in-depth exchanges with representatives of Hong Kong entrepreneurs in Zhejiang and local enterprises interested in going to Hong Kong or expanding overseas. Centering on topics such as advanced technology services and market development, both sides faced the pain points in enterprise development directly. The Productivity Council, combining Hong Kong's innovation and technology resources with its own experience, provided ideas for enterprises to expand overseas and upgrade and transform.
When discussing the needs of enterprises for global layout, we deeply realized that Hong Kong's international innovation and technology resources are exactly the "booster" that mainland enterprises need most when going overseas. On the one hand, Hong Kong's international advantages play an important role in the country's two-way development and will promote the diversified development of the national economy. On the other hand, Zhejiang has a developed private economy. Hangzhou has government support, advocates innovation, and also has private capital, all of which are conducive to the development of innovation and technology. The Productivity Council will continue to promote the combination of the digital capabilities of local enterprises with Hong Kong's advantages in scientific research transformation to produce a synergistic effect of "1 + 1 > 2".
This event achieved fruitful results. It not only deepened the cooperation and exchanges between the Productivity Council and mainland enterprises, especially those in Zhejiang, but also accumulated valuable experience for subsequent services to mainland enterprises. In the future, the Productivity Council will use the Think Tank Exchange as a link to visit more cities, continuously empower enterprise development, and contribute to the prosperity of the regional economy.
As the venue for this event, the China Enterprises International Service Center was officially launched in March this year and is committed to building an integrated service platform to support enterprises in "going global" and "bringing in". Next, the center will focus on the advantageous industries in Qiantang such as intelligent manufacturing and the digital economy, deeply link overseas parks, business associations, and international exhibition resources, promote the "going global of industrial clusters", and help Chinese and foreign enterprises achieve ecological win-win results.
